Paintball

NAS Patuxent River's paintball course is the perfect team-building or Command activity, or a fun outing with friends and family. Located next to the Drill Hall, the course takes advantage of its wooded setting to offer plenty of competitive entertainment. Open to all with base access!

 

Current Hours of Operation

Registration is required for any of the 2-hour time blocks. Weekday hours may be available for Command events upon request.

Saturdays

• 9:30-11:30 a.m.
• 12-2 p.m.
• 2-4 p.m.

 

Sundays

• 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
• 1-3 p.m.

 

Rates

Course Fee

• Free for Liberty Card holders
• $15 for all others

 

Equipment Rental

• Free for Liberty Card holders and Active Duty
• $10 for all others 

 

Paintballs

• $25 for 500

 

Policies

• Ages 10-12 must play with an adult. Ages 13-17 may play alone with parental consent/waiver form.
• Patrons must use MWR paintball guns.
• The maximum allowable speed/velocity of paintball guns is 286 feet per second (fps). Settings may be lowered depending upon the skill level of the players or type of game being played. Adjustments will be made at the Paintball Gear office, located adjacent to the course.
• Adjustment tools cannot be carried to the playing area.
• Markers can be chronographed at any time during the day to check for infractions.
