Youth Bowling League Begins June 9

The Pax River Youth Bowling League returns to the Strike Zone this summer for ages 4-18 with base access. The league will meet on Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. June 9-Aug. 11. Register by June 9!

Community Recreation Office Moving to New Location June 24

The MWR Community Recreation Office will open at its new location at 46983 Hinkle Circle (off Cuddihy Road) next to the Pax River Outdoor Pool beginning June 24. Patrons may continue to visit Community Recreation at its current Cedar Point Road location through June 18.

Summer Swim Lesson Registration Open

American Red Cross aquatic instruction is available for private, semi-private and group lessons at the Pax River Outdoor Pool for ages 6 months+. Sessions will be held in June, July and August.

American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification will be offered at the NRC Solomons Riverside Aquatics Complex July 9-19. Registration opens June 16.

Teen Summer is open to students with base access who are least age 12 and in 7th grade through age 18 and in 12th grade - each week will feature fun field trips! Registration is free - fees for field trips vary.

The Pax River Teen Center is partnering with NAWCAD for two free week-long summer camps! Teens must have base access and be registered with the Teen Center. Computer Coding Camp will be held June 22-26; Engineering Exploration Experience will be held July 6-10.
