The Center Stage Theater will host a free same-day release showing of 'Jimmy' on Friday, Nov. 6 at 6:30 p.m.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
'Jimmy,' which is rated PG-13 and has a run time of 120 minutes, is the untold true story of Jimmy Stewart, America's most-beloved actor, and the iconic role that saved him.
The film focuses on the most transformative season in Stewart's life - from winning the Academy Award for Best Actor in 'The Philadelphia Story' to enlisting and becoming a combat pilot in the U.S. Army Air Corps at the beginning of World War II. He flew twenty missions over Europe, rising to the rank of colonel by the end of the war, only to return home broken and disheartened before George Bailey and 'It's a Wonderful Life' came calling.
The cast features KJ Apa, Max Casella, Kara Killmer, Neal McDonough and Julian Works.
The use of any recording device in the theater is strictly prohibited, and the unauthorized recording of copyrighted material is illegal.
Concessions will be available for purchase, and are sold at a significant discount compared to other theaters.
