Liberty Center

The Liberty Program sponsors free and reduced-price recreational programs for military E1-E6 single or unaccompanied Active Duty members. The purpose of the Liberty program is to provide station military members with improved quality of life by offering a variety of recreation-based activities, both on and off station.

Typical Liberty programs include trips to sporting events, outdoor recreation trips, local and non-local shopping trips, and free movies at the base theater. Visit the Liberty Center at its new location at 46983 Hinkle Circle, Bldg. 1597, next to the Pax River Outdoor Pool.

 

Liberty Card

E1-E6 Active Duty members are eligible to receive a Liberty Card and free use of MWR facilities while stationed at NAS Patuxent River. 

Liberty Card perks include:

• Free use of services at the Auto Skills Center (excludes dunk tank, grill, storage, moon bounce rentals)
• Free kayak and SUP rentals at the West Basin Marina
• Free movie theater ticket at the Center Stage Theater
• Free bowling for 2 hours and shoe rental at the Strike Zone Bowling Center
• Free range balls, greens fees and club rental (cart fee additional) at Cedar Point Golf Course
• Free paintball course and equipment rental at the Drill Hall
