The Patuxent River Navy Flying Club (PRNFC) is a recreational and instructional flying organization based at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Maryland, USA. Membership is open to all active duty, reserve, and retired military, Civil Air Patrol, civil servants, DoD contractors, and their immediate families. The objective of PRNFC is to provide an off-duty, voluntary educational opportunity for base personnel to develop skills in aeronautics including piloting, navigation, mechanics, and other related aero sciences. We enable naval aviators to maintain their pilot proficiency while assigned to non-flying billets as well as to encourage an awareness and appreciation of general aviation. We aim to provide low-cost, safe, light aircraft operations, and a social program to promote club activities and morale.

The club meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm in the Clubhouse. Visitors are welcome to attend any monthly meeting or to drop in and talk to the Manager; she is usually in the office from 0900 to 1200 on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. She is also available by appointment when arranged through email.  Go to Facebook to see the latest pictures and stories as well as ask questions of members. You can also contact us by phone, fax or mail.
