Wondering how to get started if your child needs an IEP? Curious about the difference between IEPs and 504s? Or do you just want to be better prepared for meetings?

The Pax River School Liaison and the Naval District Washington Regional Special Education Liaison will offer a series of classes to help parents prepare and navigate the special education arena. Each session will be offered in person at the Fleet & Family Support Center and virtually via Teams.

Jan. 27, 12-1. p.m.: Digital Portfolios that Matter - Supporting Growth & Special Education

  • Learn how to create, maintain and leverage a digital portfolio as a tool for enhancing special education service. Following the presentation, participants will be invited to schedule a one-on-one review session.
