Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Month

A commemoration display will be located in the NAS Patuxent River St. Nicholas Chapel in recognition of Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance throughout the month of October.  The chapel is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Oct. 15 is designated a national day of remembrance for miscarriage, stillbirth and infant loss. To provide support, raise awareness and offer a space for meaningful remembrance, a special display has been established in the base chapel throughout the month of October.

The display includes:

• Commander's Proclamation
• Commemorative Candles
• Resources & Memorabilia
