Located inside the Drill Hall, the Strike Zone Bowling Center is a modern entertainment complex featuring 12 lanes and food and beverage options food from Café 300. Offering League play, Cosmic Bowling nights, Birthday/Command parties and other special events. Authorized patrons of all ages can enjoy bowling as bumpers & ramps are available for younger players.

The Bowling Center is open to all active duty and retired military, reservists, DoW employees, and family members. Government Contractors are permitted but cannot sponsor guests.

 

Rates

  • Tuesday-Friday: $4.50 a game per person
  • Saturday: $5 a game per person
  • Saturday Cosmic 4-8 p.m.: $6 a game per person
  • Hourly Rate: $45 a lane, 6 people per lane (shoes included)
    • Cosmic Bowling: $50 a lane, 6 people per lane (shoes included)

    • Command Rates: $30 per hour per lane (6 people per lane)

 

Please note that deposits are REQUIRED for reservations for groups larger than 6 people and will be by the HOUR ONLY (no exceptions), two hours maximum time limit.

Weekly Specials

Save when you bowl at the Strike Zone! Weekly specials offer a great way for friends and family to enjoy bowling for less. For more information, call 301-342-3994.

 

  • Active Duty & Families Tuesday Special
    Tuesdays, 12-3 p.m.
    Active Duty personnel and their family members can bowl $2 games with $2 shoe rentals.

 

  • Retiree & Families Wednesday Special
    Wednesdays, 12-4 p.m.
    Military retirees and family members can bowl $2 games with $2 shoe rentals.

 

  • R.E.D. (Remember Everyone Deployed) Friday Special
    Fridays, 12-3 p.m.
    Wear red on Fridays from 12-3 p.m. and pay $2 for shoe rentals. Open to all with base access.

 

 

Cafe 300

Hours of Operation

  • Tuesday - Friday: 11 AM - 7 PM 
  • Saturday: 11 AM - 9 PM 

 

You don't have to bowl to enjoy food and beverages at Cafe 300! Conveneniently located in the Drill Hall and the heart of NAS Patuxent River, Cafe 300 offers a wide variety of sandwiches, snacks, drinks, pizzas, desserts and more.

Please note that Cafe 300 closes 1 hour before the bowling center. Tuesday through Friday, it opens 1 hour before the bowling center.

Birthday Parties

Birthdays are more fun when you're bowling! Parties are available Saturdays from 12-2 PM or 3-5 PM for $70 per lane (recommended 4 persons per lane) and include:

  • 1 hour of bowling
  • 1 hour in the party area
  • Shoe rentals
  • 4 ice cream cups
  • 1 large pizza (one topping)
  • Pitcher of soda
  • Paper products & utensils
  • Birthday pin available for an additional charge
