The Navy Ombudsman Support Program, which is coordinated by the Fleet & Family Support Center, provides information and referrals to assist Command families with concerns or issues by regularly communicating and distributing information to and from the Command and the unit's family members and by keeping the Command informed regarding the overall health, morale and welfare of the families in the Command. Ombudsmen are key resources for family members, particularly during deployments.
Commands at NAS Patuxent River are supported by a team of volunteer Ombudsmen. Jamye White is one such volunteer, who supports VQ-4.
White is a proud military spouse who has supported her husband and the Navy mission for seven years.
She grew up in South Carolina, enjoys fishing and golfing with her family, and spending time with her husband, kids and dog.
White looks forward to providing help and support to the Pax community by being there for anyone who needs a listening ear. She's committed to helping families by leading them to the right place or people when they have questions and is excited to be a part of something amazing!
