School Supplies Needed for 'Back to School Bash & Splash'

MWR and the School Liaison are collecting school supplies for distribution at this year's 'Back to School Bash & Splash' on Aug. 8.

The event, which is open to all with base access, will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Pax River Pool and will feature free pool admission, inflatables, crafts, resources and more. 

Supplies will be collected July 20-Aug. 5 at the following locations:

  • Center Stage Theater
  • Community Recreation Office
  • Drill Hall
  • Fleet & Family Support Center

 

The following items will be collected:

  • No. 2 pencils
  • Pens
  • Glue sticks
  • Erasers
  • Crayons (24 ct box)
  • Colored pencils
  • Colored markers (8 ct box)
  • Highlighters - assorted colors
  • Sticky notes (3x3)
  • Composition books
  • Spiral notebooks
  • Notebook paper
  • Pocket folders
  • Kid-friendly scissors
  • Pencil pouches/bags/boxes
  • Backpacks
  • Tissues
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Antibacterial wipes
  • Quart and gallon plastic zip-top bags
